SBS was established in 1972 by the then 3 partners, Stephen Wilkinson, Barrie Bamford and Stephen Crane, and the name SBS came from the first names of the partners.

    The initial work came from house wires and work on housing estates for local builders, but drawing on the skills of the partners, who had worked for several years in control panel design and manufacture, SBS quickly moved onto a more Industrial type of installation.

    The work force during this period has expanded considerably and the main type of installation carried out by SBS Electrical is now Industrial and all types of installation are covered.

SBS Electrical Ltd are members of the "Electrical Contractors Association" and approved contactors by the "National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting"
